WEBSITE DESIGN
The Live Well Greenwich website was designed to give the diverse population of Greenwich better access to information, advice and support to help improve their health and wellbeing. Designed with a range of ages, abilities and backgrounds in mind, the website has a simple, user-friendly layout and design.
The core purpose of the website is to give people living in Greenwich better access to support in relation to their health and wellbeing, including detailed information on health related issues and better access to local support services and events.
The website is designed to allow the visitors to get to the information they require easily and in as few steps as possible, giving consideration to the diverse range of visitors to the site, simplicity was key.
Information was organised into three main areas which can be easily accessed via the ‘tab’ style navigation, wherever you are on the website, working as effectively in mobile and tablet format, as in desktop.
To assist non-English speakers, a site-wide translation feature is incorporated, alongside a set of icons designed to be universally understood. The website also features bespoke accessibility functions which allow visitors to adjust the way the website is displayed, according to their needs.
