Brand Identity Refresh
League Football Education
Being a football fan, I had great pleasure in redesigning the brand identity for League Football Education (LFE), the organisation responsible for educating apprentice footballers playing for professional clubs in The Football League.
I created an adaptable visual system based on the angles found within the existing hexagonal LFE logo, from which multiple pathways can be created. This is representative of the career path of a young footballer who may or may not make it to a professional level in the game.
As part of the brand refresh, I introduced new fonts, an icon system and an engaging illustrative style, appropriate for the young male audience that LFE work with.
Alongside the launch of the new brand, the design of the quarterly LFE apprentice magazine Touchline was completely overhauled.
